Holiday Inspiration Friday

What in May? you ask , well of course!

 I have had the ipod crankin' my favorite Holiday tunes or 2 weeks now, I couldn't possibly create for Christmas and not be in the holiday spirit. My family thanks God daily for earbuds although I have been told I sing along very loud and off key, OOPS!

Here is my very first piece of J. Nichelle Holiday 2010.
It is a lovely custom piece for sweet Joy!

I did a similar piece last Christmas, she liked it so much she sent me the planter
and the elves and I did a little magic in the workshop...

Delightfully vintage Valentine's on eBay

Well I  guess I did it! Finally listed the last J. Nichelle Delightfully Vintage Valentine's on eBay tonight. These were my first Valentines from J. Nichelle and I really enjoyed creating them. My Busy Valentine

Can you believe only 2 1/2 weeks to Valentine's Day? It seems like time goes quicker than ever, when I was in jr. high it seemed like a week took a month to go by, now a month is gone in a week! My favorite is when I think I've answered an email or returned a phone call and days later I realize I only thought about it.   Maybe too much on the plate maybe not enough, ok enough midnight philosophy LOL Yah I have to laugh a myself normally I would delete this whole thing and then just put up a few sentences about what I came here to tell you, all business no dizzy blonde :)

 Any hoo I've been busy in the studio which have I ever mentioned is half my bedroom? we have a very large bedroom and my hubby likes me close so he and the kids watch tv(well the kids do he goes in and out of consciousness) and I glue and glitter the night away.

Also I've been asked A LOT lately "why christmas trees at Valentine's or Easter?"

My reply is this "do we go cut all the pine and fir trees down because Christmas is over?"

I bet you have a spot in mind to put this cutie already. I think the flower theme of this valentine delight is adorable. I really love flowers and birds that's why I'm never in the house spring through fall my garden is my therapy and goodness knows it may take the rest of my life to tame it :)

getting ready...

 Just wanted to let you know I wasn't quite ready for listing last night so I decided to breathe a little and I will be listing these things and a few more up on Etsy & eBay tonight.

 These are not the greatest pictures I took them with my phone but it was quick and easy and that's what counts :)

I love Valentine's Day! I send Valentine's instead of Christmas cards most years because it is so much less hectic in February than December, and it's also a nice surprise :)

Studio redo

I am working as fast as I can to reorganize and restock the studio for '10!
