Magnificent Pumpkins

Now that I'm almost recovered, we finally made it to the pumpkin patch Sunday. We haven't been since we lived here in California 8 years ago. Sure we had pumpkins in Texas but we never seemed to make it a day to go find a pumpkin patch. Here in Santa Cruz you head North on Hwy 1 along the beautiful coast and there are quite a few amazing patches to visit, this year we decided to go to the grand daddy of them all Aratas just south of Half Moon Bay check it out at http://www.aratapumpkinfarm.com The Hay maze was a good hour of fun and finally of all people my mom led us out. We were saying things like " I HAYt this maze" hahaha " we are on survivor Hay maze" "they should sell apple cider in the maze, I'm thirsty" There was a lot to do & see, the metal sculptures were amazing. The kids are in 6th & 7th now and you just never know when your last trip to the patch will be that they want to go and you still have fun ya know? They picked out some amazing shiny slick pumpkins in aqua & peach colors they are really gorgeous( I would love to glitter them), it was a day I will never forget I was so thankful to have the strength to do the maze and enjoy my family.

Also I have listed a few more goodies up on eBay tonight I will be adding some more tomorrow night or Thursday, so be sure to check back!

A Sweet Angelic Peek

We all have angels in our lives in one way or another right? I know I need mine & Oh these are just adorable! Ivory trees and glimmering ornaments in pinks, soft golds and a little silver are being brought to you by these little darlings. I love the way they carry the trees which seems an impossible feat for such delicate cuties, but I guess thats why they're called angels they can do what we think is not possible when we can't even figure out how to.
I am truly thankful for the angels in my life which are my husband, mom, brother, grandma, kids, family & friends I would be lost and overwhelmed with out you!

I WISH MANY DELIGHTS to YOU!

Auctions & shabby PINK delight sneak peeks

Well I finally put up the first delights of holiday '09 on eBay last night. Phew never thought it would happen it has been such a busy year, moving across half the country and all :) Check the link to my eBay on the right and see what's available right now. These beauties will be going quick be sure not to miss them :) As some of you know I have been under the weather so I'm just not sure how many pieces I'll be able to complete this season so be sure to get them while you can. I plan on listing on Sunday and Monday evenings so be sure to keep an eye out and check back often to see the new delights.

Did anyone say romantic shabby cottage Christmas? Oh look what has come out of the workshop! Teals & pinks in true vintage cuteness. Just think how delightful these would be in your home this holiday.

A new design and a frosty couple

This season I'm expanding my creativity a little and will be doing picture frames decked out in vintage goodies. I think these will be a special addition to any decor and a great way to remember Christmas past or present. I think I'm gonna put a picture of my Italian great grandparents in one so they'll be with us every Christmas.
And here we have a frosty couple, looks like they could be gettin' hitched in this winter wonderland!  This is definetly on my list of top favorite delights, it is so retro Christmas and just plain fun.
