They only last a day but what a day it was!
Pale and oh so frilly...
hot and buttery...
fading by end of day...
but truly unforgettable!

This is as much pink as

I had to stop during our walk on the wharf

Taking a little break....

I had to get out I had to refresh my madness, so after Mr. Fire Snail arrived home from baseball practice I threw the kids in the "kitty" (my car's name hee hee) And took them to one of our favorite beaches and played till the sun went to bed....
New skimboards from Easter...

the Pacific my peace

Tepre Pacificum, "peaceful sea", bestowed upon it by the Portugueseexplorer Ferdinand Magellan
The 'Pacific Ocean' encompasses approximately a third of the Earth's surface.
My soul heals at the ocean. I have lived no more than 2 blocks from or directly on the Pacific my whole life, aside from our 7 years in Texas which most was spent on a lake.
This beach is the first one I went to as an infant, when I was 5 my dad took me out on his surfboard here into the line up and I proudly stood on the front of that board fearless and free. That day changed my life, and instilled a deep love and need for the Pacific.
This is miss icy pops ride
this is fire snails ride
I was so proud and my brother was so sweet to take them
it was a great day but a long walk back to the car...

It was a fabulous day and I love when life come full circle like this!

Have a wonderful day!
