I do hope you have been enjoying the holidays this year! I have to say we had one of of the best Christmases ever. We learned that some times tradition has to take a back seat so that break down doesn't occur and guess what it worked no major or minor breakdowns from anyone! (there really is a Santa Claus!) We laughed and ate and opened gifts for 4 days straight between my Mom and grandmas house and our home. I enjoyed myself so much I forgot to take any pictures! So I'm gonna take some good one soon to show off the Christmas decorations :). I didn't get up half of the decorations but I think it turned out ok. It was a challenge being in a new house and having to change things up. We leave our stuff up till Feb 1st because the Holidays are so busy we don't get to enjoy it till the end so in January we have people over and enjoy the decorations at a much slower pace with no holiday stress involved, I know it's a little strange but it works out fine for us. I hate the feeling after the decorations are gone and it feels so empty till March 1st when easter goes up :) I Have truly missed you all, I have been terrible about writing back but please know I cherish all you notes and think of you often.
I resolve to do better in 2010 :)
Happiest of all New Years to you!

Hi, Jen! Thanks for the visit!
Yes, I've been homeschooling for 17 years and I'm feeling some long needed, fresh motivation coming my way! I think blogging and crafting was the outlet I needed to inspire that other part of my brain that needs to be the home schooling mom for a little bit longer!
Thanks for letting me know about the give away! ♥
Happy New Year Jen! Can't wait to see those photos of your decorations! I'm leaving mine up a little longer too... just so I have an excuse to enjoy the two beautiful pieces I got from you! (I think I'll be storing them in my buffet cabinet... on the glass display side... so I can look at them all year long!)
New Years Blessings dear one... hugs. Dixie
Happy New Year! Sounds like you and your family had a real nice C'mas. I love that you leave you C'mas decor up that long. I wish I could leave mine up all year! I think I would have a mutiny on my hands if I did!
Can't wait to see your pics.
I understand how the holidays are so hectic and to enjoy the decorations after makes great sense to me. Mine are still up but must come down soon. Looking forward to more photos!
